Jack Nicholson by Sebastian Krüger

Jack Nicholson

1991 Acrylic on Board
50 X 35 cm
( 20 X 14 in. )

A riveting Krüger masterpiece of Jack Nicholson. This very early Krüger painting is highly three dimensional and literally comes to life, and seems to lift off of the canvas, when illuminated with a dedicated light source. The year 1991 is considered by many to be Sebastian Krüger's most spectacular vintage, and in this writer's opinion, is only rivaled by the artist's 1996-1997 period. The presence of this painting is something truly phenomenal to behold, catapulting this piece into the coveted top 1% of greatest Sebastian Krüger paintings of all time.
